7 things I can’t live without

Hello all! How have you been doing? Today I thought it would be fun to do a post on the 7 things I can’t live without. Sort of seriously, sort of not. My last few midweek posts have been on some heavier topics so I thought it would be nice to do something a little lighter.

My numerous notebooks.

I probably have too many. But you know what, I’ll use them someday. Maybe… One day. Oh, who cares. You can never have too many notebooks. In all different shapes and sizes and colors and paper type. I like having different notebooks for different things. It’s fun. It makes things interesting.

I have three different notebooks I use for my blogging needs. One is technically a planner so I don’t know if you want to count that. But that one holds my schedules, I have a small one for my anime/manga content and then one where I keep my handwritten notes for my book reviews from physical copies of books. If I read an e-book version I keep it in a google doc.

Different colored pens/highlighters.

This is another one where, yeah I could get away with just using black pens if I needed to but that can get so boring. Having different colors mean that I can have fun with it and I can color code everything and anything I want. I only recently started getting serious about this because I had all these pens and highlighters but just wasn’t using them. And that is more wasteful than using them constantly.

So, now I have things color-coded and I don’t hesitate to use a different colored pen here and there. And I use different types of colored pens. Cause why not? Life is short. Enjoy it.

Sticky notes.

Okay, maybe I just love stationery goods. Cause I love using sticky notes for everything. When I need to make random little notes about something. When I get a random idea that I’m not sure where to put just yet, I’ll just dump it on a sticky note to place somewhere else later. I like to use them to remind myself of something or when I am making lists. Literally anything.

Oh, and I love leaving notes on my friend’s desk at work. Something else that comes in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. Can’t ever go wrong with having some sticky notes.

Favorite hoodie/ comfort clothing.

I have a hoodie. It is (currently) my favorite hoodie. I got when I was visiting Salem, Massachusetts with my best friend a few years back now. It is a grey, oversized, hoodie and it just the best thing I own currently. But beyond that one piece, comfort or comfy clothing is amazing. I’ve written about Hygge and being cozy before so you know that I take my comfy-ness very seriously.

Internet.

I mean… Do I really need to explain this one? I am a millennial. I am a blogger. I do a lot of different things online. I think this one is pretty self-explanatory.

Although I will admit that I do wish I wasn’t so attached? or used to being online. I wish I found it a little easier to unplug from it all. But at the same time, it isn’t as if I am super involved or addicted to anything in particular. I just enjoy the content I subscribe to. I do think I need to cut back on my TikTok consumption thought. That one I probably engage with too much.

Music.

I love love, love music. I love it. Did I say how much I love music? It’s a huge part of who I am and what makes me, me. And more specifically, I can’t live without BTS. Nope. Can not. Will not live without them. They are my favorite, they make my life brighter and happier. I wouldn’t have the relationship I have with my best friend if it wasn’t for them.

So yeah… I can’t live without music.

My Friends.

Well, obviously I can’t live without my friends. They make everything so much better. And we have such great times together. Literally, it’s a hoot. I spend pretty much one whole day a week at my best friend’s house and all we do is chill. I mean we get a little crazy but like fun crazy lol. I don’t think I ever laugh as hard as I do when I am with her then when I am not.

Life would be so boring if I didn’t have my friends. I don’t even want to think about what it would be like without them.

So here they are! 7 things I can’t live without. Tell me some of the things you can’t live without in the comments below!
