I received this book as a Christmas present a few years back and only recently decided to read it. While I am not a business oriented person this book makes success seem reachable to anyone out there that wants it. Its not just for the person who wears a suit and works in an office from 9 to 5 who wants to dominate the world. It’s for any person who wants to make something for themselves, in any area.
Sophia Amoruso tells her story of how she got to where she is now, #GIRLBOSS, and how to do it yourself. She gives you a road to doing everything and anything you’ve ever dreamed of doing.
One aspect I loved in this book was the “Portrait’s Of A #GIRLBOSS” she has throughout the book about people who have made something for themselves. They are stories from a person from where they started to where they are now. It’s a snapshot of their life into how they did it.
She also has short quotes relating to success and such thrown in that stand out even more being set with white block font on a solid black background.
Now while I don’t have the greatest selection of toast here on campus I do get bagels, which means this time is all about bagels. Toasted everything bagels coated in cream cheese is the way to go for sure!
